What is soft demolition?
Soft demolition involves the demolition and removal of “soft” materials, such as drywall, wood, T-bar ceilings, carpets, doors and frames, bathroom fixtures, HVAC units and ducting, tile, and light fixtures.
When is soft demolition used?
Examples of soft demolition include strip-outs of commercial or industrial buildings or removal of interior sections of a residential building in preparation for renovation. We perform these services by hand when access is limited or there are restrictions on noise (for example, in an office building with offices in use on other floors).
